Join us January 19th
Our speaker will be Linda Gorman
Linda was introduced to a bee hive in 2003, and she started investigating all the health benefits of local honey and pollen. Because her allergies got better by eating pollen and honey, she decided to keep a hive. Linda was mentored by two long time beekeepers for a couple of years, read everything she could on keeping bees and talked to anyone she met that was a beekeeper. One summer she had 8 hives. In return, Linda has mentored many beekeepers here in the Homer area over the past 13 years and is thrilled to share her knowledge with others. Linda runs a honeybee club in Homer and is an advocate for honeybees.
