We regret to announce that there will be no
2020 Garden Tour or Harvest Dinner
After much consideration and discussion with the participating gardens, the Committee has decided cancel the event this year in an effort to keep everyone safe.
On a more positive note:
The Board has voted to waive 2020 dues for all current members. Any new members will still pay the $10.00 dues to join the club.
As to future meetings, the board is considering a "blended" meeting whereby members can physically attend or participate live via Zoom (or other suitable platform) or, if circumstances allow, revert to our regular in-person meetings. Again this is all subject to change but at least we have the summer to weigh our options.
Jan Peyton, one of our Co-Vice Presidents has located a couple of resources that you might want to check out for valuable gardening information: Good Earth Garden School, based in Anchorage and Green Thumb Hands-on Courses with local gardener Saskia Esslinger.
