We regret to announce that there will be no
2020 Garden Tour
After much consideration and discussion with the participating gardens, the Committee has decided cancel the event this year in an effort to keep everyone safe.
On a more positive note:
We have reserved the Fellowship Hall at the Methodist Church for our annual Harvest Dinner. We are hopeful that the threat of the virus will have diminished enough to get back to our normal activities. This may be "wishful thinking" but we are all gardeners after all...a hearty bunch! As soon as a final decision is made on this, we will post it here and send out an email update.
As to future meetings, the board is considering a "blended" meeting whereby members can physically attend or participate live via Zoom (or other suitable platform) or, if circumstances allow, revert to our regular in-person meetings. Again this is all subject to change but at least we have the summer to weigh our options.
